Description:
This garden is now one of the star attractions of Northumberland. In its first year it attracted over 300,000 visitors. The centrepiece is the Grand Cascade, but the Rose Garden and the ornamental garden are a joy to behold throughout the year.

The Garden attracts around � million visitors each year.

The rose "The Alnwick Rose" was launched by David Austin at Chelsea 2001. It blooms May � October, filling the air with its raspberry scent in June.

How to get there:
By car: Leave the A1 road about one mile north of Alnwick and follow the clearly signposted route.
By public transport: Regular bus services between Alnwick, Berwick and Newcastle.

The junction is signposted Alnwick, Denwick and is the first Alnwick junction you come to if heading from the borders and the second if you are heading from the south.

Summer 10am � 6pm (last admissions 5.15pm), Winter 10am � 4pm (last admissions 3.15pm)
The Alnwick Garden is closed only on Christmas Day.
The Garden�s shop, restaurant and cafes are open during Garden opening hours.

New �12.2m The Pavilion and Visitor Centre.
The Visitor Centre holds a plant and garden shop which also sells local produce, a homewares and gift shop, an espresso and sandwich bar and exhibitions and learning spaces.
Visitors don�t have to buy an admission ticket to The Garden to enjoy this area.
The Pavilion � overlooking The Garden, holds a self service caf� overlooking the Grand Cascade and The Pavilion room � a beautiful multifunction space.

Ticket includes access to the Walled Garden, The Pavilion, The Treehouse and the Woodland Walk.
Tickets are not required for The Visitor Centre.

The Woodland Walk is part of The Alnwick Garden and visitors need an admission ticket to enjoy this area.

Alnwick Castle is a completely separate attraction. An Alnwick Garden ticket doesn�t give admission to any other attraction in Alnwick.
